sprect is short for super connect. we enable you to directly connect with anyone for a one-on-one secure and private video interaction, to get the knowledge and inspiration you need to get ahead. whether you are a student seeking career guidance or a startup founder looking for advice (and everything in between), sprect will make it easy and quick for you to directly talk to the right person who may be outside your social/professional circle. no more cold emails, InMails, begging for introductions and countless hours of waiting.
it’s super easy. search for a PRO by name, skills, profession, expertise, or university. if you like, filter results by language, location, and more. check out PROs profiles and pick a date/time on their calendar. pay PRO’s fees and you are set. we’ll send you a reminder before the meeting with a private link for the call. join the call and voilà!
once you search, you will see a number of results that match your criteria. you can filter results to narrow them down to who you like. open each PRO’s profile that interests you and read their area of expertise and accomplishments.
yes. when you pick a call time, you will be able to share your requirements and questions with the PRO. If the PRO believes that s/he is qualified to help you, they will accept your call. if they are unable to help, they will reject your call request.
you can reschedule a call up to 4 hours prior to the scheduled time.
you can cancel a call before it is accepted by a PRO. you will get a full refund minus any payment gateway fees, if applicable.
currently we only support one user and one PRO in your private meeting room.
sprect does not charge any platform fees to its users. PROs get to value their time as desired or may offer free calls. when PROs decide to offer free calls a small connection fee applies.
many PROs on our platform want to give back to the community and hence choose to waive off call fees.
several PROs on our platform choose to directly donate their earnings (from call fees) to a charity. it’s their way of giving back by helping you as well as the charitable organization.
you can pay via UPI, wallets, net bank, debit cards and credit cards.
you will automatically receive an email with the receipt within 4 days after your call.
use the contact form on the website and provide details about what went wrong with the call. be as specific as possible to enable us to resolve your concern. we are here to help you.
you can cancel a call before a PRO accepts it, to automatically receive a refund. your refund, minus any payment gateway fees, if applicable, will be returned to you using the same payment method. in the unfortunate event that a PRO is unable to make it for the call, you will automatically receive a full refund.

everyone is a PRO at something. PROs on sprect come from different walks of life and include people from every educational background, occupation, level of experience, and geography. whether you are a high-school graduate or have a doctorate, whether you are a fresher or have retired - your experience has provided you with a wealth of knowledge that others will find valuable. sign up today to monetise your time or give back to the community (think students).
you must be at least 16 years old and live in India. If you live in another country, you must have an Indian bank account or you can only offer free calls and charity calls. Over the next few months we will add more countries to our list for paid calls.
unlike most professional networks, PROs on sprect can monetize their time by offering calls to users. sprect is specifically designed to offer PROs opportunities to leverage their knowledge, expertise, and influencer status.

You get access to an all-in-one toolbox for generating revenue (or offering free calls), accepting payments, managing accounts, & scheduling.
your call price can be based on your industry, level of experience, what services you are offering, and competitor pricing. In general you want to set your rate high enough that you will be motivated to prioritize your time to offer calls to users. you can adjust the price as frequently as you like.
as a PRO, your sprect profile is the first – and often only – thing our users will read about you. your profile helps users learn about who you are, what you do, and what you know in a clean, narrative format that is faster and easier to read than a resumé.

having a complete, accurate and detailed profile will help you get discovered and receive call requests.
each PRO gets a unique handle like sprect.com/pro/yourname when they sign up. this dedicated page hosts your profile and is designed to encourage users to book calls with you. post your handle (your unique URL) on all your social and professional media to let your connections know that you are available for call on sprect. if you have a personal website or newsletter, you can share your handle there too. and don’t forget to include it in your email signature!
no, you don't have to install any new software or plugins. everything is web-based and will run on a web browser on your phone/tablet/computer.
you can choose your start/end dates as well as your available time slots through the calendar in the ‘availability’ section in your dashboard. for a better experience, we recommend synching your primary calendar to avoid double-booking yourself. calendar integration is quick and easy. follow the setup steps in your dashboard.
your account dashboard shows you a summary of upcoming calls along with the options to accept, cancel or reschedule. every time you receive a new call request, we will notify you via email.
users on sprect are allowed to reschedule an accepted call up to 2 hours prior to the scheduled time. we expect you to reciprocate and request a change 2 hours prior to the scheduled time. if you have to change during the 2 hour window, then the system will automatically cancel the call and refund fees to the user. you will be able to provide a reason to the user and request them to book another call with you.
yes, you will be able to share your screen with the user during the call.
when booking a call, users will provide a reason/agenda for the call. so you will know in advance what users are hoping to accomplish from the call. in the future, we will enable you to customize your questions for the user as well as introduce a private messaging system to seek any clarification.
If you are not qualified, it’s best to decline the call request. Being honest about your ability is better than misrepresenting yourself.
for each call, we create a unique meeting room link that is shared with the PRO and the user only. join the meeting using the link at the scheduled time and you are ready to go. you don’t need to share your phone number or email with the user thereby keeping your personal information confidential. all calls are end-to-end encrypted so even sprect can’t hear your calls.
yes, most PROs offer multiple call length options (10 mins, 30 mins, 45 mins, 60 mins) and price each differently to meet the needs of different customer segments. but if your offering requires only specific lengths, then pick just those.
enter your bank account details on the payments page in your dashboard. we will automatically make payments when they become due.
72 hours. that’s the beauty of sprect. unlike most consulting assignments where you have to follow-up multiple times for receiving payments, sprect makes payment 72 hours after completion of a call provided there are no disputes.
in the unlikely event that a user disputes a call with you, we may have to hold on to your payment for that specific call. allow us the opportunity to understand the customers concern and come back to you.
we charge a nominal 5% per call. we earn only when you earn. there are no subscription plans and no setup fees. you don’t need to make any commitments. it’s risk-free.
yes. many PROs on our platform want to give back to the community and hence choose to waive off call fees. you are in complete control on when you want to charge and when you want to offer free calls. set your preferences on the ‘call types’ page in your dashboard.
yes, you can donate earnings to a charity. you can set this up on the ‘call types’ page in your dashboard.
if you are a GST registered individual, simply provide your GST number on the payments tab and we'll take care of the rest. a GST invoice will be issued to the useruser on your behalf as well as from sprect to you. you are required to file your GST return with the relevant authorities in a timely manner. as sprect is a service marketplace, we will also deduct TCS from your payout and deposit the same with the relevant authorities as required by the law.
you can add, change, and toggle testimonials on/off from your dashboard.

there are two types to testimonials:
1.⁠ ⁠sprect call testimonials - these are automatically requested (from the user) immediately after every call. we also send email reminders to users for this.
2.⁠ ⁠self-added testimonials - you can manually add testimonials you have received on third party sites such as Linkedin. these are tagged as "added on behalf of" to distinguish from sprect call testimonials.
if the volume of disputes or complaints for your account crosses our threshold, then sprect reserves the right to suspend your account temporarily or permanently. to avoid account suspension, as a rule of thumb, show up on time, treat your callers with respect, and deliver what your promise on your profile page.
