Sankalpa Sarkar

I had the privilege of hiring Sankalpa as a product manager with Sam's Club to help lead a new solution for our internal replenishment teams. During the interview process, I was impressed with how Sankalpa approached his domain and was thoughtful in his approach of creating a user focused product. But I was even more impressed when I was able to see him in action. The thoughtfulness, rigor, focus, and empathy toward the problem to be solved have continued to show themselves even more than I could have hoped. Sankalpa is an extremely strong product leader and product advocate. His creativity, passion, and drive set him apart. I wholeheartedly would recommend Sankalpa without hesitation.

As a fellow IIM Indore graduate, I reached out to Sankalpa for product management workshops. Starting with first principles, user personas, and feature prioritisation and KPIs, Sankalpa provided me with all the fundamental to advanced things a product manager can accomplish, along with excellent examples, in under two months. His training will remain with me forever, and also helped me in some interviews, especially at Bira91, where they were impressed with my ability to recommend items and target specific segments, despite the fact that I secured a job in Commercial sales. Sankalpa is available to discuss anything, including non-academic matters. He is an excellent instructor and motivator, and I look forward to future contacts with him, as learning never stops.
